The design of a big nuclear powered flying hotel that may hold 5,000 people and is supplied with gyms, swimming pools, restaurants and even a theater was revealed on June 23 by Hashem al Ghaili, a Yemeni science communicator and video producer. .
This futuristic hybrid between plane and hotel, baptized as Sky Cruise, will have 20 engines powered by a fusion plant and is meant to be within the air without landing for several years, reports the specialized portal Cruise Hive.
The presentation video indicates that the air cruise, piloted by AI, could fly for months at a time, while it might have a system to couple to standard aircraft and thus receive new passengers, which indicates RT.
The ‘sky hotel’ would have an oversized “panoramic lounge” with 360º views connected by elevator to the most deck, which might house commercial, sports, entertainment venues, cinemas, and playgrounds. A separate section would be dedicated to business events and meetings, further as wedding celebrations.
Each side of the aircraft would feature balconies and observation domes from which guests could enjoy high-level stargazing. “Its elegant design combines the features of a billboard aircraft while offering the epitome of luxury,” the video states.
Hashem al Ghaili, who designed the three-dimensional concept for the massive plane, told the big apple Post that the nuclear-powered air cruiser “could be the long run of transportation.”
