It was not long ago, I found a hot looking Bunny on my timeline. It was not a regular woman of any kind… It was an NFT called Guilty Bunnies. Not much is known about Guilty Bunnies but they are the self-proclaimed “hottest NFT on ETH” and instead of the traditional whitelist or allowlist, they have opted for the much more suitable wetlist.
Upon further exploration, their website features Best NFT Now neon lights and text with Bunnies wearing luxury lingerie. Exploring even deeper, their newly started Instagram page features merchandise sneak peeks while Discord teases that the “secrets” of being a holder will be revealed through so-called “Guilty Bunny adventures”.
We’ve yet to find out what these adventures are, but I am impressed with the creativity and fantasy Guilty Bunnies are creating. “Down the rabbit hole” they say… to “find out how deep it goes”. From the looks of the art style, the team behind Guilty Bunnies are no amateurs. The one mysterious discord announcement says “Supermodels turned cute furry superstars”. It makes me wonder if there are in fact supermodels backing this project.
Of course, this is all speculation, just as Crypto Twitter loved to speculate the origins of the Goblintown team, why WAGDIE burned a MAYC, and now if Guilty Bunnies will be the next bluechip in the world of degenerate NFTs.
What we know so far is that there will be 6969 total NFTs in the “furst collection” of Guilty Bunnies. Not much else is known about how to get one yet, but the ever present “get wet” signature is frequently mentioned in Twitter and Discord.
There have been thousands of Twitter users clamoring to “get wet” and begging the Bunnies to “make me wet”. It is still a mystery as to the exact benefits of getting wet, but the project is hinting they will be massive.
Instead of empty promises, it appears Guilty Bunnies are giving people what they want from the start. Something different. Being contrarian ETH NFT does well in the NFT and Crypto world. The most successful projects know when other projects are acting like Os, be an X. Guilty Bunnies are bewitching and glamorous, quite the opposite of the recent trend of ugly, literal poop inspired NFTs. Celebrating the fashionable side of degenerate investors ;), Guilty Bunnies are a fresh take on the NFT scene.
The “furst” Guilty Bunnies adventure is hinted to contain four furry stars: Guilty Sabrina, Bestia, Angel, and Kis. Instead of Goblin noises, what are we supposed to expect here? Crypto Twitter and the Discord server are anxious to discover what adventures await our furry allies. Not often do projects this early have so much lore and depth.
