It may soon be possible to clone human hair. World-wide, men who are interested in balancing would rejoice if this process were successful. If this new law passes, no more hair transplants and no more rubbing chemicals on your head to stop your hair from falling out would be necessary. In essence, it would provide an unlimited supply of donor hair that you could implant in areas where you are balding.
The scalp micropigmentation is the process of permanently coloring the scalp with a tattoo. It is done by injecting colored ink into hair follicles.
Unfortunately, hair cloning doesn’t seem to be a feasible idea just yet. Cloning your hair will not be possible until some major obstacles are cleared. Cloned hair, for example, cannot be guaranteed to match your other hair exactly. There is a possibility that these hairs are of a different color and thickness from others. There will be major financial rewards for those who crack the code, so scientists are working hard to overcome such obstacles.
Getting a complete understanding of how to duplicate a human hair follicle is a very complicated process, so it may take some time for researchers. To promote the growth of new hair via harvested cells from active follicles, the basic process will involve harvesting cells from active follicles. Successful cloning will only take place if cells can be effectively transplanted and produce new hair.
The plucking of existing hairs and implantation of them in bald areas is another promising method. The presence of enough stem cells at the implant site stands a chance of producing a new follicle after hair is plucked. An endless supply of donor hair would be possible if this method were perfected, which would be great news for balding men. The patient would only have to wait until the hair grew back after being plucked.
Another potential roadblock to the advancement of hair cloning is that it will have to be approved by the FDA before it can be made available to the public. The scientists will probably have to figure out all the possible steps to clone your hair before the procedure can be carried out, which means it will probably be a few more years before it can be done. Balding patients who have been waiting patiently for their problem to be fixed will undoubtedly find this very frustrating.
It has been men’s dream to find a medical technology that would return them to their youthful hair since they began losing theirs. We’re getting closer to an answer, but not likely to have it for another decade or so. In the meantime, we’ll need to use more traditional treatments such as follicular unit transplantation and follicular unit removal. With that in mind, it’s encouraging to know that hair restoration may undergo a revolution in the near future. Upon cracking the code to hair cloning, it will be a glorious day for all balding males.
It is believed that minoxidil tablets are more effective because they are directly absorbed into the bloodstream when compared to topical minoxidil products. Oral minoxidil is as effective at stopping hair loss as topical minoxidil; there are no exact studies or research proving the opposite.
There have been reports of side effects such as nausea, drowsiness, swelling of the hands and feet and severe chest pain in some people who take minoxidil pills. Studies and articles do not, however, indicate any side effects experienced with topical minoxidil. Because topical minoxidil does not have any known side effects, it might be safer than minoxidil pills.
