Although with obstacles thrown in their way, mainly due to their different social classes, their romance ends and the pair go their separate ways. All that it takes to get them back together is a home renovation carried out by Noah, and their romance sparks once again. Reflecting on the care home setting, the viewer is tear-stained upon realising that Duke is Noah, and he is reminding Allie of their past which she has forgotten due to her illness. A romantic film on Netflix you should definitely have a box of tissues next to you before watching.
Dirty Dancing
This 1980s film follows a classic love story between a holiday resort visitor and a resort dancing instructor who bump into one another at a secret staff dance party within the evening hours at the Kellerman’s Holiday Resort. While Baby is on vacation with her family, she becomes side-tracked with the resort’s staff members and finds herself performing alongside Johnny, the dancing instructor, to assist him in maintaining his livelihood. The intimacy of dancing brings the pair closer to one another which leads to a relationship but, due to Baby’s family dynamics, they must keep it a secret as her father would disapprove. In the end, their undying love for one another can no longer be hidden.
Through My Window
This 2022 Spanish romance film focuses on Raquel, and her obsession and long-term crush on her neighbour, Ares. They are brought together when Raquel realises that Ares has hacked into her Wi-Fi, and she decides to follow him to confront him. She admits her love for him and they generate a spark. However, will he throw away his womaniser reputation for her or will it be a failed ordeal? Through My Window can be considered as an extremely relatable watch, as it allows us to remind ourselves that teenage love stories aren’t always easy, and at times, can be messy.
He’s All That
Throw the improbable friendship that is Addison Rae and Kourtney Kardashian into a film with the social media platform that brought them together, and you have He’s All That. Centering around TikTok influencing (how ironic) the film stars Rae as a TikTok influencer who covers up her real living conditions with an upscale condo to portray a different lifestyle to her followers. When her boyfriend leaves her, he humiliates her online leading to a loss of sponsorship deals and followers. Now she must take on the challenge of turning the least popular boy within her school to prom king to redeem her image, but what happens when she begins to fall for him? You truly cannot beat the 2009 classic wedding film revolved around two brides sabotaging one another as a result of a consequence completely out of their control. When the men of their dreams finally get down on one knee, the wedding planning at The Plaza Hotel begins. But when their weddings become accidentally booked on the same day will they manage to compromise? Absolutely not! What Happens in Vegas
With complications in their personal life, Jack and Joy, resort to Vegas with their best friends and meet one another unexpectedly when they are mistakably checked into the same hotel room.
